Coming early 2021!

Help us recruit new players to racquetball

What is Racquetball 50+

Racquetball is described as a cross between the games of tennis and squash, although racquetball is easier to play and a lot of fun.

Racquetball 50+ is a program for people over 50 years of age that are looking for gentle fun and social exercise in an indoor sun-safe, no rain environment.

The aim of the program is to spread the word about the sport to people who want to get back into gentle social exercise.  Squash SA received a grant from The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing to help achieve this.

A lot of us used to play squash because of the fitness benefits and the social scene around the club, but who wants to twist, turn, sprint and stop anymore!

Racquetball is a much easier game to pick up after turning 50 because the ball is so much slower and bouncier.

You can learn the whole game in about 60 seconds and there is no specific technique you need to play.

If you are interested in having a FREE try with no commitment, please check the venues below and click on the coinciding link to learn more and potentially sign up for the FREE Come & Try session near you.  To sign up, you will need to create a free account on Sporty HQ, the software that Squash SA uses for all programs and competitions.  If you have any trouble with this process, please contact Squash SA on 8276 4054.
