About the competition

Squash SA’s Autumn Pennant welcomes teams from affiliated clubs and caters for players across a wide range of abilities and experience levels.

Matches are played on Monday to Thursday evenings.

Key dates

Team nominations due to Squash SA: 12 noon, Monday 11 January 2027

Season commences: Monday 1 February 2027

Proposed divisions and playing nights

The proposed structure for the 2027 Autumn Pennant is listed below.

Monday

·        Division 1 — 3 players per team

·        Division 2 — 3 players per team

Tuesday

·        Premier League — 3 players per team

·        State 4 — 4 players per team

·        State 5 — 4 players per team

·        Division 1 — 4 players per team

·        Division 2 — 3 players per team

Wednesday

·        State 3 — 4 players per team

Thursday

·        State 2 — 4 players per team

Divisions and playing nights are proposed and may change after nominations and grading.

Player eligibility

All Pennant players must hold a current Local-level affiliation or higher with Squash Australia and Squash SA through a Squash SA affiliated club before nomination.

Players should confirm that:

·        Their affiliation is current

·        Their SqA ID and player details are correct

·        Their SquashLevels profile and rating are up to date

New players

New players must hold a current Local-level affiliation or higher and complete three challenge matches to obtain a SquashLevels rating before nomination.
