The Monday night Spring Squash Pennant grand finals at The ARC were nothing short of spectacular, with two divisions battling it out for premiership glory. In Division 1, Campbelltown’s Gray Matters Legal faced the experienced Kidman Park team in a clash that had the crowd buzzing. The opening match between Bailey and Colin was the highlight of the night, with both players producing dazzling drop shots and relentless rallies. After five thrilling games, Bailey edged out Colin to give Campbelltown the early lead. The momentum shifted when Kon, newly recruited by Kidman Park, showcased his skill with a commanding 3–0 victory over Matthew, leveling the score. It all came down to the final showdown between Jacob and Peter, the number one players for each side. Jacob’s youthful energy and speed proved decisive, as he claimed the match in four games to secure the premiership for Gray Matters Legal.
Division 2 was equally dramatic, with Campbelltown’s Robert Johnson Vineyards team taking on PAOC Tip Top Electrical. The first match saw Nicholas from PAOC overpower Phil in four games, giving his team the opening rubber. Ashley then stepped up for Campbelltown, fighting through four tough games to defeat Tim and even the score. The premiership came down to the final clash between Claudia and Lachlan, where Claudia stole the show with her sharp boasts and devastating kill shots. Outplaying her energetic opponent in four games, she delivered Robert Johnson Vineyards their first-ever premiership victory. It was a night of passion, skill, and history-making triumphs, with both Campbelltown teams walking away champions.
