Become a Squash Stars Leader! 

Do you enjoy working with young people and want to help grow squash and racquetball across South Australia? Squash SA is looking for enthusiastic people to become Squash Stars Leaders and deliver the national in-school squash program in schools throughout the state.

You do not need to be a currently qualified or experienced squash coach to get involved. We are looking for people who are friendly, organised, passionate and confident communicators. Whether you are a current player, club member, parent, volunteer or simply someone who loves the sport, this is a rewarding opportunity to introduce children to squash in a fun and welcoming environment.

Squash Stars Leaders can earn $60–$100 per hour, depending on the funding available for each school program.

Squash SA and Squash Australia will provide the resources you need to succeed:

• Squash equipment for each school session
• Ready-to-use session plans and activities
• A simple registration and training process
• Ongoing support, guidance, and assistance

You will not be doing it alone. Lucas Norman, Squash SA Development Officer, and Anne-Marie Nickless, Squash Stars Officer, are available to provide training, practical advice and support every step of the way.

Becoming a Squash Stars Leader is also a fantastic way to give back to squash and racquetball in South Australia. By delivering sessions in schools, you can help children discover a new sport, increase junior participation and create stronger connections between schools, families and local squash communities.

This opportunity directly supports Squash SA’s goal of increasing participation through accessible programs and positioning squash and racquetball as leading indoor lifestyle sports in South Australia.
